VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

Here are the requirements if you are interested in volunteering for a medical mission with AOJAH.

• Volunteers must be at least 18 years to participate in work conducted in clinics or hospitals.
• All professionals (ex. Doctors, nurses) must be currently licensed.
• Medical professionals will require a letter of recommendation.
• Volunteers must pay for their own international travel and hotel.
• Volunteers must be in relatively good health.
• Work hours are normally 8-10 hours per day for 5 days.
• Work conditions may be very hot, humid and not always air conditioned.
• Volunteers must be flexible, have patience and willing to pitch-in wherever required.
